The Toyota SU Woordfees is a unique collaboration that brings together a town, a university, artists, audiences and communities from across our country and many parts of the world to tell their stories. The festival transforms the university town of Stellenbosch in the Western Cape winelands into a whirlwind of energy and creativity as artists, audiences and communities collide in a joyous celebration. The premier Afrikaans Arts festival Woordfees, plays host to a huge variety of Afrikaans based theatre, art, spoken word and musical performances, as well as film screenings. The technical production is handled across all venues by Audiopimps, and in 2023 ULTRA supported with the creation of the Toyota Musical performance stage. The ULTRA Dome Roof was a centerpiece for the stage, flanked by 8m high PA and Branding towers. Ultra supplied a d&b V-series PA system, 6mm LED screens, and various Martin and Robe lighting fixtures.
